Here are some 15mm early New Kingdom Egyptian chariots by Khurasan Miniatures. These are from the 18th Dynasty, part of the army of the great Egyptian warrior pharaoh, Thumose III. At the bottom is a combined shot of the infantry and chariots I've painted to date.
Beautiful painted stuff!

DeleteLovely looking chariots, I remember going to his tonb in the valley of the kings, he had a slightly different graphic quality to his hieroglyphics?

Thanks Iain. According to The Ilustrated Guide to Luxor Tombs, Temples and Museums by Kent R. Weeks the ‘hieroglyphs and figures are done in a cursive style like that used on papyri’ (p.236). We didn’t visit his tomb, wished we had!
