Indian Reinforcements

 

Here are some reinforcements for my Indian army to bring a cavalry unit and a two horse chariot unit up to strength. The cavalry are Newline Designs figures and the chariots are Old Glory Miniatures but I've added in some 1st Corps crew and drivers for a bit of variety. As mentioned in the previous post, we have a Late Achaemenid Persians versus Indians MeG game organised for next week, so these figures will probably see action then.

More Indian Four Horse Chariots

Here is the final chariot unit for out Command and Colors Ancients Hydaspes games at Little Wars Canberra next Sunday. They are all 1st Corps Miniatures figures. I'm really looking forward to Little Wars it is always a fun, relaxed event with a wide range of participation games and quite a few vendors. I've put in an order with Nic from Eureka Miniatures for their Bronze Age Greek chariots and Denisovans. For details of some of the other games see my previous post on Little Wars Canberra 4 November 2018. Would be Alexanders or King Porus, I hope to see you there!

Indian Two Horse Chariots

Here are a couple of two horse Indian chariots for the army of King Porus, that I've just finished painting. The figures are by 1st Corps Miniatures. My mate Rick and I are a running another Command and Colors Ancients participation game, the Battle of Hydaspes, at the Little Wars Canberra event in November this year. Apart from being a really fun day of gaming this also provides motivation in getting more units for my Indian army finished in time!
