Here are some New Kingdom Egyptian spearmen of the 19th or 20th dynasties that I've finally finished painting. The figures are by Wargames Foundry, sculpted by the Perrys. The back drop photo was taken in the Valley of Kings at Luxor in Egypt on our trip there in 2009.
Nice job, the shield really make the figures stand out, they look good in front of the back drop too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Donnie, the Foundry NKE are a great range.
DeleteBeautiful looking miniatures!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal, the Foundry and Warlord NKE are the two best 28mm metal ranges around.
DeleteNice looking spearmen! How do you get the background embedded into your photo?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jonathan, I just print the photo on A4 paper and put it behind the figures and base then take photos. It’s very low tech!
DeleteGreat looking NKE troops from a classic range.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean, they are for sure.
DeleteYour NKE troops are superb! I love the way you have incorporated the backdrop from your trip photos into the pics too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jason, I find the trip photos good inspiration for the painting.
DeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks Aaron.

ReplyDeleteBest Iain
