Norman Milites

Here are some Norman Milites from the archives. These are mainly Conquest Games Norman plastic cavalry with two Crusader Miniatures figures. Shield transfers and banner are by Battle Flag with LBMs on the Crusader figures. I based these with a desert look, burnt grass and dried tuffs so I could use them as Normans in Sicily and for the Early Crusades.

  1. Great looking Norman knights. Some of my first gaming figs were Crusader Norman knights - since sold, but they were very nice and wish I kept them.

    1. Thanks Dean, the Crusader figures are nice, I like the Conquest Games figures too but not quite as good as Victrix.

    1. Thanks Peter, hopefully we’ve got a First Ramla 1101 CCM Crusades game lined up soon, so they may see action.

  5. Good looking. Norman's, they've come up well, especially considering their one of the earliest multi part plastic sets!
    Best Iain

    1. Thanks Iain, yes they’re nice figures, their plastic infantry are good too, cheaper than most other sets and they have quite a few metal figures as well.
