Here are some Carthaginian Veterans from the archives. These are all Victrix Miniatures figures with Victrix shield transfers, from the Warriors of Carthage plastic set.

    1. Thanks Jonathan, they're Victrix plastics that I painted about five years ago. I still have quite a few Carthaginian metal figures to finish.

  8. Hey Cyrus I love Command & Colors Ancients, and your Punic War stuff is awesome, and so was the giant gaming mat. You inspired me to go for it. I just received a beautifully done mat from UK.

I have 5 inch hexes, as far as I could tell that's what your using. Looks like your medium and heavy Infantry are 16 figs, auxiliary 8, lights 4, and Cav 6, and 4.

What would really be neat if you have some time is maybe do a post about this, size mat you chose, figure size, any special rules you've employed to play in 28's, etc.

If you have the time. Thanks for the eye candy and look forward to future posts.

    Cheers
    Kevin

  9. Thanks Kevin, CCA and CCM are great games, definitely all time favourites. Your mat with 5 inch hexes sounds great, the ones I have are Hotz mats. We haven't played a game for a while but I have quite a few scenarios I'm keen to play. That is a good idea for a post, so happy to do that, somethings are tricky like the wider and deeper board size for CCM.
